“Splashing Into STEAM With Water Education”: A Sponsored PD and Watershed Stewardship Initiative for Greenville County Schools

August 19, 2026 By scprojectwet

SC Project WET would like to extend a sincere THANK YOU to our sponsor and partner, Greenville Water, for making this PD
possible! SC Project WET also partnered with community organizations SC Adopt-A-Stream, Palmetto Pride, and Roper Mountain Science Center to host a PD for K-12 teachers as part of a larger initiative to engage schools, teachers, and students in local watershed education and stewardship. Teachers received the new Water in Earth Systems guide, complimentary lunch and T-shirt, local educational resources, and activity kits.
